  • “ர்” “ற்” வேறுபாடு

    “ர்” “ற்” வேறுபாடு

    “ர்” “ற்” என்ற இரண்டு எழுத்துகளுமே மெய் எழுத்துகள். இவற்றின் ஒலியும் ஒன்று போலவே ஒலிக்கும்.ஆனால் இவை இரண்டிற்கும் உள்ள வேறுபாடு முக்கியமானது.

    • ·”ற்” ஒரு வல்லின மெய்யெழுத்து இதைச் சற்று அழுத்தி உச்சரிக்க வேண்டும். இதைப் பெரிய”ற் “என்று சொல்லலாம்.
    • ·”ர்” இடையினத்தைச் சேர்ந்த மெய்யெழுத்து அதனால் அதன் ஓசை “ற்” எழுத்தைவிட சற்று இறங்கி இருக்கும். இதைச் சின்ன “ர்” என்று சொல்லலாம்.
    • ·”ற்”  மெய் எழுத்து சொல்லின் கடைசியில் வராது.
    • “ர்” மெய் எழுத்து சொல்லின் கடைசியில் வரும்.

    The difference in “ர்” “ற்”

    The two letters “ர்” “ற்” are consonants. They have similar sounds,yet their differences are very important

    • ·”ற்” is a hard consonant. One has to pronounce it with little pressure. It is referred as big ·”ற்”(irr)
    • ·”ர்” is a medial consonants. It’s pronunciation has lesser pressure, It is referred as small “ர்”(ir)
    • The consonant·”ற்”  will not be a ending sound of a word.
    • The consonant “ர்” can form a ending sound of the word.

    “ர்” என்ற மெய்யெழுத்து இடையினத்தைச் சேர்ந்தது இது அரை மாத்திரை அளவே ஒலிக்கும்,இதன் ஒலி மூக்கிற்கும் மார்பிற்கும் இடைப்பட்ட கழுத்திலிருந்து வெளி வரும். இந்த எழுத்து சொற்களின் இறுதியில் வரும் அது ஆ ஈ, ஊ, ஏ,ஓ என்ற உயிர் எழுத்துகளோடு சேர்ந்து இரு எழுத்துகளை உருவாக்கும். சொற்கள் ஒன்று போலத் தோன்றினாலும் அவற்றின் பொருள் மாறுபடும்.

    “ர்” ending words

    The consonant “ர்” has middle sound and has duration of half a second. The sound comes from the neck which is between the nose and the chest. This letter be a ending in a word. With vowel letters ஆ ஈ, ஊ, ஏ,ஓ they create two letter words. Each word may sound similar but have different meanings.

    ல்,ள்,ழ் ஆகிய மூன்று மெய்யெழுத்துகளும் ஒலியில் ஒன்று இருப்பது போலத் தோன்றினாலும் அவை மூன்றும் வேவ்வேறு விதமாக ஒலிக்கும். “ல்” மெல்லிய ஒலியைக் கொண்டது.”ள்” எழுத்தின் ஒலி கடின உச்சரிப்பு உடையது. “ழ்” இந்த இரண்டிலிருந்தும் மாறுபட்டு ஒலிக்கும்.

    The Three consonants ல்,ள்,ழ் may sound similar but they are very different from each other. “ல்”(il) will have a soft sound. “ள்”(iLL) will have a harder sound. “ழ்” will have a different sound altogether.

    ஒற்றுமையும் வேற்றூமையும்

    இநத மூன்று எழுத்துக்களுக்கும் இடையினத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவைல்,ழ்,ள் மூன்றும் சொல்லுக்கு நடுவிலும் இறுதியிலும் மட்டுமே வரும். அவை சொல்லின் முதலில் வராது.. இவற்றைத் தவறாகப் பயன் படுத்தினால் சொல்லின் பொருள் மாறும்.

    Similarities and differences

    These three consonants belong to medial consonants(idiyinam). The three ல்,ழ்,ள் consonants will only come at the ending of a word. They will not begin the word.If they are used wrongly the meaning of the word will change.
